Healthy Breakfast

Herbalife came out with the ideal breakfast! It is easy to make, tasty and what’s no less important, is healthy. Thinks about all the time you have to spend making yourself a decent breakfast, I’m not even talking about the energy of the very preparation and the time spent thinking about what to make. Herbalife, as usually, makes our life easier.

So much of the modern diet is full of carbohydrates-cereal and toast for breakfast, jacket potatoe for lunch and pasta for dinner.

So as a healthy breakfast idea all you need is nutritional shake mix. You get to choose between five flavors: chocolate, strawberry, tropical fruit cappuccino and vanilla. The cocktails you make can be standard and simple, but they can also be the fruit of your own imagination and creativity. For example, in order to make the vanilla shake, you need only : 2 big spoons of formula 1 (vanilla flavored powder), 250-500 mm of low cholesterol milk, 1 spoon of honey, ice (if you choose) and shade it all up in a mixer. Seems too easy? In less than five minutes you can present yourself with a nice, healthy drink. It is easy to digest in the morning, yet although the food seems relatively light; it would keep you full for a much longer time than a regular meal would.

The protein drink is full with vitamins, minerals and healthy herbs. It is a great breakfast that consists only 200 calories. You can add yogurts to the equation; you can chop all kind of fruits, use soya milk – then just throw it all into the mixer, and within a few minutes, a delicious breakfast is ready. Make your life healthier and easier. Now that it is so easy, everyone can do it! You can make a couple of different cocktail so all your family can enjoy something special that would keep you full until lunch. The drink actually contains the vitamins A, D, E, C, B1, B2, B3, B5 and many more. In short, it contains twice the vitamins serials have. Enjoy your breakfast, it’s not in vain called the most important meal of the day!

Our experts have executed a research to find the best nutrition and diet plans.

Miraculously, after 6 months on the product I lost a whooping 13kg!! the best thing is I never have to stop breastfeeding, and my baby seemed to be nourishing from all the good nutrient that my body absorbed. Training for a Marathon

"I went from wheezing my way up a staircase to training for a marathon!”

Eli Akiba

“I went from wheezing my way up a staircase to training for a marathon!”

Eli Akiba knew he was putting on weight. The self-described “chocoholic” had been giving in to his powerful sweet tooth more and more, and he even started taking naps just to get through the day.

“With my weight over 200 pounds, my wife was really worried about me.”

“When I started on the ShapeWorks™ products,” recalls Eli, “I was having a hard time just making it up a flight of stairs.” But the energy boost he felt on the program
was so strong, Eli participated in a marathon a few months later. “Because of a knee injury, I only made it 18 miles,” Eli says. “But considering the shape I was in
before, what a great success that was!” Eli went on to drop 44 pounds, add 10 pounds of muscle and slim his waist from a size 38 to 31. “I’m training again for this year’s marathon!” Eli exclaims.*

How I Did It:

Don’t fight my sweet tooth–enjoy two snacks a day, like Protein Bars.
Make my shake really delicious by adding frozen raspberries.
Enjoy great, low-fat snacks–like unsweetened applesauce and nonfat ricotta
cheese with vanilla extract, a pinch of cinnamon and a squeeze of chocolate syrup!

When she started using the ShapeWorks™ products, Raquel explains, “I finally started to get it. Thank goodness for protein
We need protein in our diet to stay strong and healthy. If we don't eat enough our bodies will steal it from our muscles and organs. In fact, protein is essential for the development of our muscles, which lead to an increase in the burning of calories. Our muscles could be described as fat furnaces as they keep our metabolism running high.

Too many fast releasing carbohydrates lead to weight gain
Traditionally we were taught that carbohydrates should provide our body with its primary supply of energy. However, many people have confused fast releasing carbohydrates (pasta, cakes) and slow releasing carbohydrates (whole grains, vegetables) eating too many of the former-the tempting, convenient, tasty variety! Most of us lead sedentary lives, so any excess energy from carbohydrate-rich food) is stored as fat

Optimize your protein intake in your diet and lose weight!
Remember to:
1. Eat regular meals spaced throughout the day
2. Choose slow releasing carbohydrates foods
3. Increase your intake of live foods (fresh fruit and vegetables)
4. Identify your body's protein needs and consume
the amount you need

How much protein do I need?
On average:
Women need 100g of protein in diet per day
Men need 150g protein in diet per day

How can Herbal Vitality help me?
If you tried to get all the protein you need from foods such as meats, you would consume too many calories, because these protein rich foods come with extra fat calories.
Protein-enriched meal replacement shakes, Protein Supplement Powder and High Protein Low Carbohydrate snack products, contain protein sources which are easily absorbed and assimilated, and which allow you to reach your body's protein requirements without those unwanted calories.
Easy and convenient to follow the programme, so will fit into a busy lifestyle. For example, easy to take a shake for breakfast (in milk or juice or yoghurt) to help balance blood sugar levels, rather than skip breakfast altogether. Its fast food for smart people! Shapeworks Weight Loss

Reduce grains and sugar to lose weight and improve health

For several million years, humans existed on a diet of animals and vegetation. It was only with the advent of agriculture a mere 10,000 years ago - a fraction of a second in evolutionary time - that humans began ingesting large amounts of sugar and starch in the form of grains (and potatoes) into their diets. Indeed, 99.99% of our genes were formed before the advent of agriculture; in biological terms, our bodies are still those of hunter-gatherers.

While the human shift to agriculture produced indisputable gains for man - modern civilization is based on this epoch - societies where the transition from a primarily meat/vegetation diet to one high in cereals show a reduced lifespan and stature, increases in infant mortality and infectious disease, and higher nutritional deficiencies.

Contemporary humans have not suddenly evolved mechanisms to incorporate the high carbohydrates from starch- and sugar-rich foods into their diet. In short, we are consuming far too much bread, cereal, pasta, corn (a grain, not a vegetable), rice, potatoes and rice cakes, with very grave consequences to our health. Making matters worse, most of these carbohydrates we consume come in the form of processed food.

That 65% of Americans are overweight, and 27% clinically obese, in a nation addicted to sesame seed buns for that hamburger, with a side of French fries and a Coke, is no coincidence. It is not the fat in the foods we eat but, far more, the excess carbohydrates from our starch- and sugar-loaded diet that is making people fat and unhealthy, and leading to epidemic levels of a host of diseases such as diabetes.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, chances are very good that the excess carbohydrates in your body are, in part or whole, to blame:
Excess weight
Fatigue and frequent sleepiness
Depression
Brain fogginess
Bloating
Low blood sugar
High blood pressure
High triglycerides

We all need a certain amount of carbohydrates, of course, but, through our addiction to grains, potatoes, sweets and other starchy and sugary foods, we are consuming far too many. The body's storage capacity for carbohydrates is quite limited, though, so here's what happens to all the excess: they are converted, via insulin, into fat and stored in the adipose, or fatty, tissue.

Any meal or snack high in carbohydrates generates a rapid rise in blood glucose. To adjust for this rise, the pancreas secretes the hormone insulin into the bloodstream, which lowers the glucose. Insulin is, though, essentially a storage hormone, evolved over those millions of years of humans prior to the agricultural age, to store the excess calories from carbohydrates in the form of fat in case of famine.

Insulin, stimulated by the excess carbohydrates in our overabundant consumption of grains, starches and sweets, is responsible for all those bulging stomachs and fat rolls in thighs and chins.

Even worse, high insulin levels suppress two other important hormones - glucagons and growth hormones - that are responsible for burning fat and sugar and promoting muscle development, respectively. So insulin from excess carbohydrates promotes fat, and then wards off the body's ability to lose that fat.Excess weight and obesity lead to heart disease and a wide variety of other diseases. But the ill effect of grains and sugars does not end there. They suppress the immune system, contributing to allergies, and they are responsible for a host of digestive disorders. They contribute to depression, and their excess consumption is, in fact, associated with many of the chronic diseases in our nation, such as cancer and diabetes.
